There are three key components in the mixing drum of a concrete mixer, namely blades, linings and mixing arms. The quality of these components directly affects the production efficiency and service life of the mixer. This article mainly talks about the material selection of mixer blades and how to reduce blade wear?
High-quality blades are generally made of high-quality wear-resistant alloy materials, with high hardness and wear resistance, as well as high toughness and impact resistance; for example, Zhengzhou Changli forced mixer series uses blades of this material, which are highly safe, wear-resistant and have a long service life.
Methods to reduce blade wear of concrete mixers:
1. The direction should be consistent: Install the blades correctly according to the instructions, and the direction should be consistent as much as possible. Do not install them in reverse, otherwise it will increase the degree of blade wear.
2. The angle should be appropriate: When installing the blades, try to keep the inclination angle at about 70 or 80 degrees.
3. Other precautions and practices: Be sure to tighten the mixing blade nut when installing it. The mixing blades on the two shafts are staggered by 90 degrees. The best angle of the blade is when the blade rotates to the top, and the upper part shows about 20-30mm of mud.
