The sequence of concrete mixing and feeding is divided into primary feeding method and secondary feeding method. There is also manual mixing, but it is not recommended.

1. The one-time feeding method is to add stones to the hopper first, and then add cement and sand. For a self-falling mixer, some water must be added to the barrel first, and then water is added gradually; for a forced mixer, since the feeding port is at the bottom, water cannot be added first, and water should be added slowly and evenly while the dry materials are put in.

2. The secondary feeding method is divided into ready-mixed cement mortar method, ready-mixed cement slurry method and cement-wrapped sand method. The feeding sequence is as follows:

Method 1: Add cement + sand + water and stir, then add stones.

Method 2: Put cement + water into the mix first and then add sand and stone.

Method 3: Add all the gravel, sand and 70% water and stir for 10-20 seconds, then add all the cement and stir for 30 seconds, then add the remaining 30% water and stir for 60 seconds.

The secondary feeding method used in the production of concrete is formed by changing the feeding sequence and mixing method on the basis of the traditional one-time feeding method. Its biggest advantage is that the concrete produced by this method overcomes the defect that the cement slurry is difficult to completely and evenly wrap the sand and gravel, thereby achieving the purpose of increasing the strength of the concrete or saving cement.

3. Manual mixing is not recommended. If it must be used, mix the sand and cement first, then add the stones and mix well. Then, shape the pile into a trough shape, add half of the water and mix well, then add the other half of the water.
